Alberta Premier Jason Kenney said the province would release its COVID-19 modelling on Tuesday and Wednesday.

EDMONTON -- Premier Jason Kenney asked Edmontonians and Calgarians to stop having get-togethers at home after Alberta Health counted more than 1,400 COVID-19 cases in two days.

“This is a strong request that Albertans in Edmonton and Calgary stop holding social gatherings at their homes, that they just keep to their family core group at home — period. We’re not going to be sending out police to monitor this.”In addition, officials are introducing voluntary restrictions for areas under Alberta’s watch category. This includes no more than 15 people in private gatherings, no more than three cohorts and wearing masks in indoor work places.

Kenney also encouraged Albertans to download the ABTraceTogether app and explained why the province would not adopt the Ottawa’s app.

Is the media stupid? These are not restrictions they are voluntary there is no enforcement

Grow a pair Kenney and make the necessary decisions!!

Tyrant

What’s the Premier to do? Declare Martial Law? Enforce a curfew and beat those with a stick that don’t abide by it like they’re doing in India? You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. Humans are ultimately the creatures of their own demise. Plain & simple.

Stop propagating a hoax.

They're not restrictions, they're recommendations. 'We’re not going to be sending out police to monitor this.'

Can someone run down the numbers in total? 40% of transmissions are get togethers. 1% restaurants, where are the other 59% coming from? What percentage is unknown ?

But Ontario needs HARD DATA, go figure.
