Justin Trudeau won the 2015 election riding a wave of promises he couldn’t hope to keep. Jagmeet Singh, the leader of the New Democrats, must have been paying attention. The chances any government could afford the long list of spending initiatives it’s dangling in front of voters are nil. But it really doesn’t matter: the more successful he is at appealing to the utopian left, the worse it is for Trudeau.
The NDP leader is not hard up himself, and his obvious success — as a child of immigrants who has built a rich and rewarding life for himself — suggests Canada can’t be that bad at offering opportunities to get ahead to striving families like his own. Education and a work ethic seem to be the key.
Thing is, it doesn’t really matter. The promises don’t have to be believable to have the desired effect, which is to lure back members of the faithful who defected to the Liberals in 2015. Trudeau’s success demonstrated that voters on the left don’t worry much about where the money’s to come from, or dig too deeply into the details of the pledges candidates make.
Jagmeet looks at Justin same way as Melania and that fella running France.

The NDP and Green Party want the Trudeau 'Liberals' to win a minority because then they can demand all sorts of concessions in return for support
3 crazy peas in a left wing pod.
VotePPC the only party telling the truth
DARE to be CONSERVATIVE!!! Save Canada from socialism! Don't believe their lies folks...they are in it for themselves and will lie about anything for a vote!!!
But he'll still win 😊
Trudeau winning a minority works in favour of the NDP and Green Party who would only prop his government up with significant concessions
