BREAKING: Justin Gaethje defeats Tony Ferguson at UFC249.

The stacked card saw 33-year-old Henry Cejudo, with blood gushing from his forehead and running down his chest, defend his bantamweight title against Dominick Cruz and then announce his retirement in the middle of the octagon.

The event also included heavyweight contender Francis Ngannou pummeling another opponent, former NFL defensive end Greg Hardy winning for the sixth time in eight fights and former welterweight champion and fan favourite Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone losing his fourth straight. "I want to congratulate Dana White and the UFC," Trump said. "They’re going to have a big match. We love it. We think it’s important. Get the sports leagues back. Let’s play. Do the social distancing and whatever else you have to do. We need sports. We want our sports back."

The mixed martial arts behemoth will hold three shows in eight days in Jacksonville, where state officials deemed professional sports with a national audience exempt from a stay-at-home order as long as the location is closed to the public.

VSiNLive Great job by the UFC and especially the fighters , but also GOV DeSantis who continues to the best he can under these circumstances

He’s come a long way since he saw dead people with Bruce Willis. UFC249

I knew it !& I kne it was gonna be in that fashion but anyways I got screwed by Jairzinho being a fool against Ngannou

Amazing! Beautiful win. Khabib prob beats Gaethje, he won't stand and trade like Ferguson (he'll take some shots, shoot, and grind him to a powder). Took Rogan et al until rd 3 to stop talking about how much damage Tony was surviving and laud what Gaethje was hitting him with.🙄

Holy moly what a comeback for sports. What a Fight. Respec to Gaethje.

It may be a blessing in disguise that Ferguson vs Khabib has been delayed so many times Khabib would DESTROY Tony if that's how he's going to fight UFC

I have loved watching Tony fight for years. I have never seen someone be able to take a beating like he did, and still come forward. If Khabib would stop hiding, I can’t wait for this fight. UFC249
