Why aren’t Cavan Biggio, Anthony Alford and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. up here, and Teoscar Hernandez and Billy McKinney elsewhere? What is your impression of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. so far? ScottyMacThinks discusses that and more in the latest Jays Talk FAQ.

In this regular Sportsnet.ca feature, Blue Jays talk host Scott MacArthur answers some frequently-asked Blue Jays questions.have played 12 games. They have lost 10 of those games. Six of those losses have been by four or more runs. Three of those losses have been by three runs. Both victories have been by one run, including a 12-inning, marathon 1-0 victory in Texas on May 3.

A. Interesting in that the answer is contained in the question without the asker even realizing it. This is the year to find out exactly who are Teoscar Hernandez and Billy McKinney, among others! Biggio and Gurriel, in a meritorious world, would be in Toronto by now. I’ve covered my thoughts on Biggio, understanding if he comes here he must play. He cannot be stapled to the bench because such a scenario would stunt his development. Gurriel is hitting at Buffalo and playing a solid corner outfield.

If you’ve already decided on Hernandez and McKinney, my question for you is this: What will you decide about Biggio if he struggles in his first month in the big leagues?A. Welcome to the Edwin Jackson experiment. Let’s hope Jackson has something left to offer as the Blue Jays need someone to eat up innings, which none of the starters has been doing enough of lately, and the only way for him to do that is to pitch reasonably well.

ScottyMacThinks They are just as bad as what Jay's have, freaking junior B players!

ScottyMacThinks They want to stink not suck

ScottyMacThinks Because Alford isn’t any good yet. .176 says enough. Gurriel hitting over 300 but needs to be turned into a utility outfielder first. Why not ask where Roemon Fields is? LH bat hitting .309 with speed. Should be here playing beside Davis and Grich

ScottyMacThinks Guriel isn’t up here because he is mentally week so he is working on that in the minors. Alford should be up and McKinney should be gone but they haven’t done it. As for Biggio they keep screwing around for some reason. Guerrero is money don’t you worry!

ScottyMacThinks Really like McKinney....but he needs more seasoning. Not big league ready at all. Teo...could be a great hitter, just needs an approach.

ScottyMacThinks The answer: Because Ross Atkins sucks and needs to be relieved of his duties for ruining Canadian baseball.

ScottyMacThinks Jays are in tank mode. So it only makes sense they run out bums. How else do u explain the Socrates Brito disaster?

ScottyMacThinks Don’t believe the hype.

ScottyMacThinks The right answer is the team fuc&Ed up the minute they let Alex A. go!!!

ScottyMacThinks For starters Alford has not earned a spot up here. He's batting .176 in AAA.

ScottyMacThinks Teoscar is young and tons of potential. Alford deserves a shot understandably but he’s accident prone. You can’t just ship out a young guy to make room for AAA ball players when the guy you could be trading is part of the solution. No right or wrong answer. Good problem to have

ScottyMacThinks I would rather ask sportsnet why they are running these shitty adds for the PC party ?

ScottyMacThinks Two marginal major leaguers who would never be in the lineup for any contending team. But this is how the Jays will be good, right?

ScottyMacThinks because the goal is 100 losses...

Minnesota Twins crush Toronto Blue Jays 9-1Jorge Polanco matched a career high with five hits, including a two-run homer, as the Minnesota Twins cruised to a 9-1 win over the listless Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday. You're a Toronto outlet ffs, you shouldn't use words like 'crush' when describing a Jays loss. Rogers needs to put some cash into this team like the others do for some more quality players.
