The recent surge in Japanese equities hasn’t dented their appeal for investors as they see the market rallying further on the back of still-attractive valuations, broadening structural trends and untapped investment pockets.
Japan is the “go-to market” in Asia, Bank of America’s latest fund manager survey showed, with most respondents expecting positive returns from the world’s fourth-largest economy over the next 12 months. A significant shift is underway in Japan, as domestic investors are now returning to the market, he said.
