Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has said he hires 'teams of cultural appropriation specialists' to vet his recipes and make sure they are safe for publication in his cookbooks.

"Your immediate reaction is to be defensive and say, 'For the love of God, really?' And then you go, 'Well, we don't want to offend anyone,'" Oliver told the46-year-old Oliver rose to fame as the presenter of the BBC cooking show "The Naked Chef" in 1999, and went on to write a series of successful cookbooks, selling more than 46 million copies worldwide, according to his publisher.

The recipe for "empire roast chicken" was published in Oliver's 2011 cookbook "Jamie's Great Britain," which was accompanied by a Channel 4 TV series that showed Oliver making some of the recipes.titled "Empire roast chicken, Bombay roasties and amazing Indian gravy," Oliver set out to celebrate what he called "our Indian love affair" by making a "full-on collision between beautiful British roast dinners and gutsy Asian spices.

Pretty gnarly

Everything woke turns to 💩.

Seriously... ?

Wow, he’s so “woke”…..🙄🙄ridiculous

What a dope.

Oh yeah you'd have to for sure, even if your restaurant Chinese food is made by Bengalis, Mexican food by Asian's, Italian food by south Americans, so on and so forth, the stupidity of 'cultural appropriation' and 'political correctness' needs to be wiped off the planet.

We have all become to retarded for our own good. Life as we know it isn't the least bit fun anymore.

Isn’t cooking the one thing that’s supposed to bring people together? We’ve seen “fusion dishes” from many different cultures. This is a sad time. ffs

Lol

Or...he could stop bastardizing traditional recipes

If you are looking for a way to apologize for building a life enjoying and sharing culture through food, you need to be cancelled.

So how do you become a cultural appropriation specialist since their are thousands of different cultures Seems like a fake specialty or publicity stunt

Is this a real story?

Cooking is racist?

Opinion: Social media's PC, woke, immature and young adults poster boy dikwad: Jamie Oliver
