Jamal Murray headlines invitees to Canada’s basketball World Cup training camp Globe_Sports

. The son of Rowan Barrett and godson of Canadian basketball legend Steve Nash, the younger Barrett averaged 22.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists for Duke University last season.

A total of 17 NBA players were invited to the camp, but former No. 1 draft pick Andrew Wiggins was not one of them. He averaged 18.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
