The veteran forward sustained a torn ACL and is expected to miss the next five months or so, according to Islanders general manager Lou Lamoriello.
Ladd sustained the injury during Sunday’s game against the Arizona Coyotes after being on the receiving end of a hit. “It’s not good news but it’s part of the game,” said Lamoriello, who told reporters Tuesday that Ladd will be operated on this week.
Tough break for him, he's been injured all year, I hope this isn't the last we see of him, that's a hard injury to come back from at his age (no offense to ladd) best of luck with it!
