I Let My Kids Take Mental Health Days From School | CBC ParentsI want my kids to know that if they need to take a break from the world every once in awhile, well, that’s just fine with me. Because in our house mental health is health. Kids I hope those parents are really wealthy.... because in real life....at work.... when you have to pay bills.... theres no mental health days!!! Kids When I was a kid we just didnt do those things and it sometimes led to ppl being a little triggered. Sometimes it is necessary for adults & kids go take a mental wellness break. I occasionally ask my kids how they are feeling upstairs & wether or not they want to go to school. Kids I did that as often as I felt necessary, and gave them a 'mental health day off' every once in a while.
