In this photo by the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, concrete is poured for the base of the second nuclear power reactor at Bushehr plant. BUSHEHR, Iran -- Iran began pouring concrete Sunday for a second nuclear reactor at its Bushehr power plant, a facility Tehran points to as its reason to break the enrichment limit set by its unraveling 2015 nuclear deal with world powers.
Bushehr is fueled by uranium produced in Russia, not Iran, and is monitored by the United Nations' International Atomic Energy Agency. However, Iran began 4.5 per cent enrichment in part to supply Bushehr despite the deal limiting it to 3.67 per cent. On Sunday, trucks with spinning concrete mixers poured their slurry into the prepared base of the second reactor as journalists watched in Bushehr, some 700 kilometres south from Iran's capital, Tehran. Bushehr's working reactor stood behind it.
Salehi also offered Iran's help to neighbouring Arab nations, noting the United Arab Emirates' nuclear power plant in Barakah had seen years of delays.
let's just bomb this shit out of the whole country
Thanks Trump.
The Americans should turn Iran and it’s bullshit into a parking lot !
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The arms race is back on again !
Good for them. No governing body should tell another how to be evil. Who cares
Was that approved by Greta and the UN?
Trump did Russia a favour by pulling out of the deal they had with Iran. Big mistake
Is that a red flag for anybody else out there...
