Inspired by skull imagery and 'The Lord of The Rings,' a Brazilian tattoo artist has covered nearly every part of his body in ink and undergone surgeries to give himself horns, a forked tongue and pointed orc ears, even cutting off his nose to complete the look.

In 2006, he started covering himself, head-to-feet, with tattoos of dragons, clowns, bulldogs and other creatures.RankBrasil

De Oliveira calls the eight years he spent getting the tattoos “by far the most painful experience I've gone through.”De Oliveira began by stretching out his ear lobes; then injecting ink into his eyes turning them black; adding horns to his head; replacing his teeth with vampire dentures; and even splitting his tongue in half.

“But I would have to say that the most life-impacting, impacting modification I've done was with my nose,” he said, explaining he had it surgically removed in March and it’s taken several months to heal.As for enduring the pain of people’s judgment, de Oliveira tries not to let it bother him. Many people think he’s either a Satanist or Satan himself, he said, “because I come across as a someone terrifying.

This man clearly identifies as an orc and shame on all of you for passing judgment!

What part of Texas is he from?

No he was inspired by mental illness

I have so many questions but the first is why He needs help, where is his family

Basically a freak.

What, Jerry Springer news? Someone should see this guy gets the mental health care he so obviously requires. And NOT exploit him further.

Freak show

He literally enjoys being the main attraction at his own tattoo studio and loves that strangers want to photograph him on the street. At what point do we finally call this out as a serious mental health issue?!

That’s normal? NOT he needs some meds and some help!

I will pay to fly this man to any child's birthday party in exchange for video of the event.

God help us when ppl inspired by other movies….”saw” comes to mind….yikes….this is batshit therapy crazy…..

This is one of the saddest ppl I've ever seen.

Huh. He does know they were the baddies right?

More like Voldemort from Harry Potter. Even looks like the ‘Dark Lord’

Idiot or mental illness? Either day very sad.

Me to have been inspired to look like Brad Pitt but it’s not going to well like this guy. 😂😂😂

i didn't even buy the collector soda cup in the theatre.

Don’t you have an obligation as journalists to question the quality of your news pieces? I don’t know who gave this the go ahead but it seems like some not great changes have been made at ctvnews

NOPE lol

This is disturbing and he needs a therapist.

American?

traxxcalledhava

Damn, I would have been inspired by Aragorn or Legolas not the Orc’s!😂The doctors (and tattoo artists) should be referring to mental help instead of agreeing to do these procedures. Anyone that cuts their nose off and injects their eyes to risk blindness is not mentally well.

Uggglllyy

Raises some vexing ethical questions: Why is this terrifying, ghoulish image forced onto our timelines? Should there be sanctions placed on physicians who did this? Are there limits to “informed consent”? Does the Hippocratic Oath matter? You know, the idea of “do no harm”?

Sweet lawd.

Eish... think of the post nasal drip!

I'm probably correct in saying that a person's nose serves a good purpose.

Nice hope he loves it.

He injected dye into his eyeballs. Eventually he will make the news again when this turns lethal. Very sad.

I want to know whether he's single or married. JustSaying

Justin Trudeau at a costume party?

Can yous say mental health?
