As our climate continues to change and disasters grow in frequency and magnitude, Canada will require evidence-informed social protection policy infrastructure that will ensure a modicum of stability. We can’t wait for another pandemic or major disaster to provide this security. We must act now to protect the health and well-being of Canadians.
