In tell-all documentary, doped-fuelled cycling champ Lance Armstrong does not look sorry Globe_Sports

This translation has been automatically generated and has not been verified for accuracy.Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong is pictured with a team of riders as he takes part in Geoff Thomas's 'One Day Ahead' charity event during a stage of the 102nd Tour de France cycling race from Muret to Rodez, France, on July 16, 2015., in which the main subject attempts to explain himself.Lance Armstrong is recalling his return to cycling after nearly dying of testicular cancer.

But don’t worry, they’re doing God’s work. A couple of weeks ago, the mob took down a cookbook writer at the New York Times. What a thrilling blow for justice.the worst thing you’ve ever done. Even if that worst thing is an ill-judged attempt at saltiness in an interview. The logic here is that people only occasionally reveal their true selves. One slip is proof of the dark soul they’ve managed to hide until that point.

Because he is a remarkable person who has been that way for a long time, Armstrong has got the benefit of multiple deep explorations of his experience. He is funny, scary, wise in his way, delusional, kind, cunning and just about all the other things a person can be. At this point, who cares? Armstrong did performance-enhancing drugs. So did just about every other elite cyclist in the early 2000s. All of Armstrong’s teammates featured in the documentary – each of them far more sympathetic than him – admits to doing the same thing.

Globe_Sports Lance's been an asshole since he was a junior racer. The attitude that 'everyone cheated so I should too' was / is ripe in the pro cycling world. If Cycling really wants to clean up, most of the top performers from 1970's - 2010's should be stricken from record book.

Globe_Sports Yes, as said in a comment above, I think the top 16 riders tested positive. So Lance still was the best year after year. Is kinda messed to think of it being that dirty but why try to pretend it's clean when it's far from it?

Globe_Sports He shouldn't be. There's no such thing as a clean athlete. Even high school kids are blasting test nowadays. Don't knock it until you try it.

Globe_Sports As bad as cheating is every single person in cycling was cheating at that time. He was just that much better at it. You have to admit it was awesome to watch.

Globe_Sports He has a notch in his belt labelled Sheryl Crow, it has that effect
