Savoring Success with Taste Nova Scotia Culinary Ambassador Amy Savoury | SaltWirePassengers from the final cruise ship of this season stroll behind the Joan Harriss Cruise Pavilion. Sydney’s busiest cruise ship season to date wrapped up on Sunday, when the Insignia docked for the day.

The visit from the Renaissance Cruises vessel concluded a record-breaking 2023 season at the Port of Sydney, with 112 vessels and more than 200,000 tourists from the cruises to Cape Breton, according to the port authority. Ten ships also docked in Louisbourg this summer. The Insignia brought 1,250 passengers and a crew of 800. BARB SWEET/CAPE BRETON POST
