What a showing for East Northumberland Secondary School Track and Field athlete Aidan Molenhuis who competed in his first ever multi-event competition at the Royal Canadian Legion Provincial Track and Field Championship in Brampton on the weekend. Molenhuis competed in the U18 Octathlon, a two-day competition that included eight track and field events, finishing with an impressive 3769 points and earning the silver medal.
His events included the 100 m race , long jump , shot put , the 400 m race , the 110 m hurdles , high jump , javelin , and the 1000 m race .
