Now, after almost seven years in Canada, I am better, but I still need to feel more confident about myself. So, here I am, a Latin girl with bad grammar, terrible accent and awful pronunciation. The one who doesn’t understand the difference between on, at, onto, into or any other prepositions, and the one who has accepted that I need to look up the spelling of “definitely” because I never remember how many “es” the word has.
I really thought there was a requirement to prove proficiency in one Canada's official languages. I had to do mine.
