A total of 94 registered participants took the plunge into Morien Bay for the 10th anniversary of the Port Morien Polar Dip, held on New Year's Day. This was the first time since 2020 the event was held in person at Port Morien. The return of the in-person Port Morien Polar Dip marked a welcome sight to the local community and surrounding area, as the event drew 94 participants, and hundreds more onlookers viewing the proceedings from the park, as well as the steps leading down to the Port Morien sand shore.
