Conversely we invest ~$240M - $1.5Bn in taxpayer money in tech research re: automating a number of school processes (i.e. guided personal education, test/essay marking, & student supervision).
Children learn from teachers. You could put them in a field and add a teacher. Now it's a school. The bulk of education funds must support teachers. They are key. This fight is ridiculous.
