Pascal Siakam could be leaving some money on the table under the NBA's new salary cap projection. loung_s explains ⤵️

Just a few days before the start of this season, Siakam signed a max contract extension for four years. This max deal would be worth 25 per cent of the Raptors’ cap, with assumed maximum year-on-year raises, to be worth approximately $129.92 million.

A $370,000 difference isn’t a huge loss in salary for Siakam right now, but that figure could balloon to a loss of more than $1 million in total salary if he meets certain performance incentives this season.when word of Siakam’s contract first broke, the percentage of the cap for Siakam’s deal could increase to 28 per cent if he makes the All-NBA Second Team, 29 per cent if he’s selected for the All-NBA First Team and 30 per cent if he’s named MVP.

The final deets on deal, per sources: 4rs at 25 per cent of the cap w/ raises of 8%, projected to be $130 million. Siakam's deal would increase to 28 per cent of cap if he makes 2nd team All-NBA in 2019-20, 29 per cent if he makes All-NBA 1st team & 30% for MVP:
