International Union of Operating Engineers Local 793, representing more than 18,000 Ontario crane and heavy equipment operators, is the latest private-sector union to throw its support behind the PCs.
None of those endorsements are from public-sector unions. Ontario Public Service Employees Union, representing 180,000 workers, has endorsed the New Democrats, while the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation is backing Green Party Leader Mike Schreiner and Parry Sound-Muskoka candidate Matt Richter.
“Doug Ford doesn’t say anything that’s ideological or philosophical. He says ‘I’m here for the people. I want to get the job done,’ ” the retired University of Waterloo political science professor said. If Federal Conservatives are smart,they would make Ford run in Federal race and crown him as the new leader of PC.
Conservatives both federally and provincial are the only party trying to build our economy so to have better paying jobs..more taxpayers and better support our public sector.
No he threatens contractors with loss of work if he losses that is pushed on the unions
No surprise if you’re white working class you’re the enemy to the NDP and Liberals. The question is can the federal tories capitalize on this

The vast majority of unions know that Ford will cut them off any chance he gets. He's buddies with a few photo-op union workers until after the election.
We work for living, not expecting handouts
