To encourage your children to be caring of others, you can help them to understand that not all of us are having the same experiences through the pandemic

. Ask questions such as: “What do you think we would do if we didn’t have a laptop? How would we do your school work or talk to grandma?” Or, “If we didn’t have any books and the library was closed, what would we do at bedtime? Or, “If you lived alone and couldn’t go out, what would you miss?”

If your child has any money of their own, they can supplement a donation to a food bank in your town. If they have any gently used books, games, craft supplies they could give away, make a Facebook post asking if anyone can connect you with someone in need for a drop off without any contact. The same goes for any electronics or devices that someone else might be able to use.

I love that you are recognizing the complexities of living through this pandemic, and the challenges and opportunities it presents for us as parents. We can help our children see the “both/and” of their own experience and think beyond it. We can help our children recognize that we are all in this together and we can help each other.

Hockey parents unsure about the future of minor hockey after COVID-19 - Sportsnet.ca'What if some parents choose not to send their kids or not to register?' After minor hockey associations across Canada had to cut their seasons short due to COVID-19, many are trying to determine when to resume and how to make the game safe for children. Will be interesting for sure to see what the GTHLHockey and HockeyCanada come up with. A season of 3x3 with a roster of 15 skaters would be brutal for the kids, though. I got an idea. Cut out sports all together and kids will become depressed and obese.

Hockey parents unsure about the future of minor hockey with COVID-19Minor hockey associations across Canada have had to cut their seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and many of them are trying to determine when they will resume and how to make the game safe for children. My guess, and it is just a guess... Minor league hockey is done until there is a vaccine. A future with no hockey is no future if you are a Canadian. We need to stop this nonsense. No way we let China ruin the way of life of the entire world. But they have the teams already picked for the next three years!

WHO sees ‘potentially positive data’ on COVID-19 treatmentsThe WHO said it was focusing on learning more about four or five of the most promising ones Dear Globe: No rational person gives a care about what the WHO says, does or thinks. THE WHO CAN NOT BE TRUSTED IN MY OPINION ...THEY ARE INFILTRATED WITH CORRUPTION ...PAY OFFS ...ESPIONAGE....AND A NWO AGENDA...INITIATED BY DICTATOR FACTIONS ..AND HUGE CORRUPT G20 COUNTRIES PULLING THE STRINGS..!! Is this true? Hard to tell since the WHO has been found to not tell the truth.
