How expensive will electricity be when everyone has an EV. How much carbon will be used to generate all this electricity.

You might want to find out how much power it will take and where that power is going to come from?

Ev’s will undoubtedly take over one day but for the time being for the love of god can the government stop trying to tax us into oblivion for using oil. Cmon man it’s not like I wouldn’t drive an ev if they were Readily available and affordable to purchase

Electric vehicles for Canada is a height of insanity the power grid will not support everybody with electric cars the only places where electric cars might be good are in the cities but a lot of the people live in the country where the need reliable Power is non existent

don't they just plug in at home?

Can one tow my 40ft, close to 16000lb fifth wheel RV, let alone tow it any great distance between charging?

As well where are all the raw materials for battery production?Russia or China . They are excellent dependable sources. Research Geo- political conflicts if your not to busy in the Tesla service department

Article Error (Battery Life) - modern temp controlled batteries with thermal mgt systems last a long time, similar to a gas engine. The metals/ minerals are worth $$ and can be reused in energy storage, or recycled over & over.

EVs are fun to drive w instant acceleration. They're cheap to recharge ($6-9), 4 times as efficient (100+ MPGe) & need min maintenance. You'll save $10-15k on fuel & repairs over 5 yrs. Also great in the winter, always starts & heat comes on instantly, no waiting for cold engine.

I just plug my EV into a regular outlet in my garage. It costs me about $30-$40/month in extra Hydro.

How is the energy generated to produce the electricity?

Actually... we don't care. What we want to know is why CBC doesn't have any coverage of the Israeli fascists, who attacked a funeral.

..how much coal generated electricity is required?...

In my building, the cost estimate to convert 60 stalls to Level 2 chargers was 1.2 million for a building of 80 units. That's a 15K special levy per unit. Guess what got voted down twice. The cost to retrofit for old strata builsings is problematic.

Do they have the handicapped/new mother/electric vehicle combo spot too?

I quit smoking because cigarettes went to $10 a pack. TBH, I promised myself I'd quit when they got that expensive. My will is weak and I need a hard nudge. So, I'm hoping we see $3.50 gas. That's my line- my vow to me. Promises made, promises kept. 😁

No reporting on the very poor infrastructure to support EV vehicles and how wait times for new EVs are growing. Seems like a propaganda article for JT. DefundTheCBC
