The Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie took over GFL Memorial Gardens on Saturday for its annual Battle of the Sections.
The money will go towards vital youth organizations locally, such as THRIVE Child Development Centre, the Rotary Club said in a release. Section 108 won the Battle for the first time in the new Memorial Gardens building, taking home hand-clapper noisemaker prizes from Final Touch Property Maintenance Services to cheer on the Hounds in the next game.
