ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Helen Escott’s five-book “Operation" series of novels published by Flanker Press has been optioned for film and television adaptation by Rink Rat Productions.

“When I published Operation Wormwood in 2018, I felt right away that this talented writer is going places,” Flanker published Jerry Cranford stated. “Adaptation of her novels into film and television seemed inevitable to me."Rink Rat, a company with over 25 years of experience, was involved in the making of the critically acclaimed feature film “Maudie”, an international co-production between Newfoundland, Ontario and Ireland.
