A Newfoundland musician got his “bucket list moment” when he got to sit behind the drum kit this week to play with The Who.

Greg Hawco of the Goulds, who has been performing with Come From Away, was invited on stage with the iconic rockers at the Scotia Bank Arena Monday night. Hawco says he grew up listening to The Who, but wasn’t nervous meeting the band, saying he and the other musicians they hired were there to do a job.

“They’re cool guys” says Hawco, indicating that the veterans showed a lot of respect for the musicians they hired.
