North Carolina is a crucial battleground in the contest between Republican President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

Green said he was sprayed in the face and later slammed to the ground before being briefly taken into custody.

The Graham Police Department, in a press release, said officers directed pepper spray into the ground after rally participants failed to follow a command to stop blocking a road. “As a result of actions that occurred within the rally, on courthouse grounds, the assembly reached a level of conduct that led to the rally being deemed unsafe and unlawful by unified command,” the police statement said. Following warnings that force would be used if people did not disperse after 5 minutes, the department said officers used the pepper spray after several people still remained.

A woman’s eyes are washed from pepper spray deployed by police at a Get Out The Vote march in Graham, N.C., Oct. 31, 2020.The Burlington Times-News newspaper said one of its reporters was among those pepper-sprayed and said they did not hear any warning before the police action.“I saw it hit a child,” she said of the pepper spray. “She got it straight in the mouth and she vomited everywhere.

This incident is unacceptable. Peaceful demonstrators should be able to have their voices heard and voter intimidation in any form cannot be tolerated.

Mitchell Miller no longer part of University of North Dakota hockey teamA day after the Arizona Coyotes renounced Mitchell Miller's draft rights, the University of North Dakota announced Friday that Miller is no longer a member of its men's hockey program. Now I am starting to feel sorry for this kid, are they trying to drive him to suicide? Yes he did wrong, and was held to account, when he was 14! Omar Khadr killed a US soldier at about the same age and JustinTrudeau rewarded him with a 10.5 million dollar payday! If he was a talented player in his early age, he had people working with him to make sure that he was being groomed. He was brought up to believe that he was entitled to do whatever he wanted and to have no regrets. This is all on him, his family and handlers. I am full support of people being given second chances to make ammends for past dispicable actions. I am not in support of making a person a pro athlete and role model before they make those ammends. This should have all happened earlier, but done now still has a great impact.
