GARRIOCH: Senators open two-game series against Detroit with huge 6-2 win

Goaltender Cam Talbot made the stops when necessary as the Senators moved to within two points of the Wings in the standings. The Senators knew the meaning of this game and they looked like they wanted it more than Detroit.
