A new mental health centre for youth is opening Saturday with a gala fundraiser featuring singer Tyler Shaw.
The youth mental health centre is located on the first floor of the Dominion Building which was purchased by Cohen-Herrendorf’s grandfather S.J. Cohen in 1943. The centre will offer programs such as life-skills workshops, yoga, fitness classes, recording studios and rooms for art therapy and counselling.
