“Our family has grown, and in many ways, drifted as folks are busy with their own growing families, but it’s lovely to make time and come together for a meal, a few pictures and a catch up," says Tucker.Ajao echoes this sentiment. “Nanny has loads of excellent recipe books at her house, but the ones that always seem the best to me are those scribbled on the back of a napkin, with a ‘pinch’ of this and a ‘dash’ of that,” says Fuller, who notes that the tacit understanding of a recipe rarely comes from the written instruction alone.
