Four young people were taken to hospital early Saturday in Surrey after a Jeep crashed into a lamp post.
Surrey RCMP say shortly after midnight, officers responded to a report of a single vehicle motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 78 Avenue at 122 Street, where at Black Jeep had sustained heavy damage. Two men and one woman were transported to hospital in serious condition. A fourth person, a man, was transported to hospital in non-serious condition.Police say two people initially fled the scene on foot and have since been identified.
No arrests have been made at this time. Investigators don’t know why the Jeep crashed and say nothing has been ruled out at this time.Anyone with more information, including dash cam footage, is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and quote file# 2019-71536.
