Former MP moves from politics to beer brewing in Sussex, N.B.

A Former MP has shifted focus from Ottawa to Sussex, N.B., with a business venture into a craft brewery.

Alaina Lockhart served as the MP for Fundy Royal from 2015-2019, where she sat as the Parliamentary Secretary to Small Business and Tourism during that time. The former politician said that brewery operations at Hand Forged Craft Beer have a different pace than sitting in Ottawa, but said that owning a small business is encompassing and that she has felt a need to get back into business after selling hers a number of years ago.

She said the support received from the community has grown into a prosperous venture and that she was surprised by the amount of demand for the beer. “I think clearly when I was involved in leadership in the community, Rick has been involved in that too, so it’s always been important for us, and we’re able to come at things from different angles. He is a craftsman and I like bringing the community together.”

Smith says former Trump medical advisor has been invited to AlbertaSmith said her advisors have reached out to Dr. Paul Alexander, a former advisor to a member of President Donald Trump\u0027s administration. A medical advisor, by the way, who was turfed by Team Trump because of his extreme views on herd immunity. Lol 😂 she needs help if she wants to listen to anyone that was with trump. Oh wait. That’s how she got elected. By using comrade trumps playbook. Talk about oblivious! BlockedByDanielle has no concept of what Alberta wants, just like an Alberta police, sovereignty act, or R-Star scam she is so distanced from what we need.
