An extra 1 million a day profit !! Fakeflation at it's finest

Why are we not grilling oil and gas executives about ridiculous profits? Those companies are at the top and driving inflation in all sectors.

It’s the stupid carbon tax by the very own JustinTrudeau . He should be grilled on this

Profiteering.... the practice of making or seeking to make an excessive profit

'experts'

I can’t get past the visual of “grilled food executives.”

$27.4 BILLION in questionable CERB payments. TAXPAYER money. Yet our government is focussed on grocery profits🤦‍♂️. Liberal mismanagement of taxpayer money. Typical tripping over the dollar to pick up the penny. Signed a pissed off taxpayer.

You cought me at 'grilled food'

Greed!

What experts? Companies like Loblaws own the bakeries, the transportation and the wholesalers. They are uniquely responsible for cost increases to customers.

The 'experts' being the people making hand-over-first profits? Yeah, totally trustworthy.

record profits for the largest grocers... Hmmm... this is my response.

It's Greedflation plain and simple... Just look at the salaries and bonuses of those executives!

Trudeau spending 12,000 a month sure helps them

Why is the lens always conveniently placed on business and never on government? Who really created this mess? 🤷🏽‍♂️

Food prices to rise in 2023Canadian families will pay $1,065 more for groceries next year amid inflation. CTV’s Tyler Fleming reports. That’s not enough unless families eat lots of cheap food such as beans, rice and pasta. A small whole chicken is $16+. Tip is to stock up on sale and freeze if u have the $ and freezer space. I bought 5 chickens today 1/2 price, 10lb potatoes $2.99, 4 doz eggs 2.49 per doz. That seems low based on what I've been seeing. Amid *price gouging*
