Five scary cars to haunt your Halloween nightmares — via drivingdotca Halloween2020 Halloweenspirit October2020 scary

What’s scarier, a haunted Honda Civic or a funny noise coming from under the hood of your out-of-warranty Jaguar? I’m inclined to think it’s the latter – begone, foul spirit of Lucas, Prince of Darkness!

Plot synopsis: geeky teen Arnie Cunningham buys a beat-up old car and begins restoring it himself. During the process, a certain madness seems to take hold of him, one noticed by his friends. To be honest, that part’s not particularly supernatural. It will sound very familiar to anyone who’s been in the middle of wrenching on an old car, only to discover that the socket set is yet again missing that one size you need.

Famously, Alec Guinness warned Dean about his deadly little Spyder, predicting that, “If you get in that car, you will be found dead in it by this time next week.” And dead he was, killed in a head-on crash with a 1950 Ford Tudor driven by a university student called Donald Turnupseed. This is not a good movie. It’s actually kind of terrible, of the sort you can only get with independently produced sci-fi films from the 1980s. The plot, such as it is, involves a mysterious black-clad helmeted figure driving around in a sleek supercar, boiling people’s eyeballs in their skulls. There are lots of unlikely car chases, plenty of explosions and dialogue so cheesy it’s a danger to the lactose intolerant.

Luckily, Justin Bourne is here with some educated guesses. jtbourne Canadian division sounds so sick honestly. If the playoff format is similar to what it was the last few years maybe we will see some Canadian playoff success? 🤔 jtbourne So...your concern about negative overtones surrounding the to be winner of the cup is clearly focused on MapleLeafs lol - pretty bad when you need a shorted season to become a favorite...lol jtbourne Good question! Will there even be an NHL in the months to come? Or an MLB or NBA for that matter? What about the CFL or NFL. They can’t keep playing in empty arenas or stadiums indefinitely.
