TORONTO -- The Toronto Raptors defeated the Golden State Warriors 118-109 in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night at Scotiabank Arena. The Tenors provided an elegant start to the proceedings with a rousing rendition of "O Canada."

The performance fuelled an energy level in the building that was already palpable. Jordan Smith sang the U.S. national anthem.Danny Green put Toronto on the board with a three-point shot, holding his extended right arm in the air for an extra split second after the ball swished through the basket. Armstrong on what a trip to NBA Finals would mean to Raptors' franchiseSitting just one win away from history, the Raptors know that there are massive stakes heading into Game 6 against the Bucks in Toronto. Jack Armstrong shares his thoughts on the magnitude of a potential Toronto victory. I would disagree that the Raptors are built to be sustainable. A lot of the future depends on one player - Kawhi Leonard. I don’t see the Raptors being able to replace him. Gasol and a Green will also be free agents. They still have to close out the Bucks and it won’t be easy.
