People stopped trusting government when a politician said to be the most powerful man on the planet said 'government is the problem'. And his lapdog / sidekick said 'there is no such thing as society, just man and woman'. Why do we need government then?

Big part of it of course, is JustinTrudeau.

I have trust in our governmental institutions. Maybe saying “nobody trusts” is over the top.

Because foreign owned entities like NP seed the distrust?

For me it was the parade of media 'experts' that really weren't experts but regular people that had no clue where this was going but quite happy to use their letters to spew whatever the Government was saying in their desire to control. Follow the money.

Once you loose the trust of the people, it will take decades or longer to regain that trust. People know that government COVID information is oftentimes a lie, what else is government lying about….

Because people were told not to trust them. Massive disinformation campaign by Russia and its conservative sympathizers.

They cut a slice off Scarborough and gave it to North York, but Scarborough is fighting back. Will it be enough?Because of Ontario's growth, the northwestern borderlands of Scarborough — slices of the Scarborough-Agincourt and Scarborough Centre ridings — might be annexed into North York in a redrawing of the federal electoral map. But Scarborough is fighting back. That’s not going over well. At the public consultation this fall, one man stood up and compared it to the partition of India THANKS PIERRE I would think, As growth happening everywhere, right, hence 1more riding in Scarborough between Agincourt & Scarb-Center& Scarb-North, Equally 1 More in North York from it's North-East, Donmills etc ridings, Fair all around.
