FIRST PERSON | Did I make a mistake by not investing in a house? | CBC NewsGrowing up, Lise Watson knew home ownership wasn’t for her. But she worries about housing affordability as the future of co-ops like her own seems uncertain. Why is someone who pays less than $1200 for a two bedroom apartment (average for a two bedroom is about $3K) talking about missed investments? Also why does it matter that the co-op cares “deeply about social Justice”? This is so tone deaf and reeks of this person’s privilege. We all need to do our part, it's never too late for roommates. This is a pandemic.
