Agawa Canyon Tour Train, Miss Marie Lock Tour are centrepieces of special event

The inaugural Rainbow Weekend, a celebration of diversity, unity and inclusivity, kicks off Aug. 25 hosted aboard two of Sault Ste. Marie’s premier tourism attractions.

Sault Pride and 2SLGBTQIA+ Network, in partnership with presenting sponsor Village Media, announced plans for a special journey on the Agawa Canyon Tour Train as it transforms into the Rainbow Train. There will be live performances, culinary delights, signature drinks and an array of fun activities. The Rainbow Train features three distinct cars, each catering to diverse preferences. The Party Car will be the hub of entertainment with a fully licensed bar and music, setting the stage for an unforgettable ride. The Family Car is dedicated to creating memories for families of all ages while the Quiet Car offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere, allowing passengers to bask in the northern landscape.

The next day on, Aug. 26 at 7.30 p.m., embark on a two-hour boat journey aboard the Miss Marie Lock Tour as it transforms into the Rainbow Boat. The main deck will feature a dance floor like no other with a world-class drag show and DJ spinning tunes that keep the energy high.
