Hurricane Fiona shook Nova Scotia last night. The wind howled and the rain pounded on the roof. Strong winds caused power outages and knocked over branches and trees. On Shannon Drive, a tree fell and its roots were sticking up out of the ground. One tree even broke the power lines on Pleasant Street. Branches and leaves were left lying around everywhere. People are still cleaning up debris from their yards. Town workers are clearing the roads and sidewalks.
