PORTAGE LA PRAIRIE, Man. — The Kam River Walleye exited the Centennial Cup on Tuesday without a point.

The Superior International Junior Hockey League champions dropped a 4-1 decision to the Collingwood Blues at Stride Centre in Portage la Prairie, Man. falling to 0-4-0 as they wrapped up round-robin play at the national junior A championship. Jeremy Dunmore had the lone goal for Kam River, beating Collingwood's Noah Pak at 1:57 of the third, cutting the Blues lead to 2-1 at the time.

Bryce Sutherland and Dylan Hudson jump-started the Collingwood attack with second-period goals, after the two teams played a scoreless first. Cam Garvey and Ethan Boderick scored third-period markers to push the game out of reach. The Blues currently sit atop the Group B standings, with eight points, two more than Battlefords and Portage, the tournament host.
