He shared the news during a group meeting a couple weeks after discovering the win from the Nov. 12, 2022 draw. Their ticket — purchased at Petro Canada on Green Mountain Rd. in Stoney Creek — matched six of seven Encore numbers. “They all thought I was going to give them some bad news — then I told them we won,” he said. “Everyone was so excited.
