One person is dead after a fatal crash on Deerfoot Trail around 3:15 a.m. As MKingGlobal reports, Calgary police expect the stretch of Deerfoot between 16 Ave & 32 Ave to be closed for a good chunk of the morning. READ MORE: YYC YYCTraffic

Calgary police confirmed to Global News that a truck was heading northbound in the southbound lanes ofOne person is confirmed dead, though it’s unknown at this time the person’s age or gender.

Around 3:45 a.m. Calgary police shut down all lanes of Deerfoot Trail between 32 Avenue and 16 Avenue N.E. on Dec. 2, 2022 after a fatal crash.
