With several teams making up a ton of up postponed games, NHL schedule manipulation could prove to be a useful tactic as the year progresses. thegoldenmuzzy looks at how you can get an edge over your opponents in his Fantasy Hockey Mailbag. ⬇

BOS, CGY, CBJ, MIN, MTL, NYI, SEARest assured, schedule manipulation could prove to be a useful tactic as the year progresses, especially given how unpredictable things have been once again this season in fantasy hockey.

Additionally, did you know that the line of Lawson Crouse, Johan Larsson and Phil Kessel have combined for 29 points in the past nine games? Not bad, right? All three could be on the move by the trade deadline.Personally, I’d hang onto Oettinger. I know the Stars have struggled lately, but it’s important to have long-term perspective in mind. The last thing you want to do is make reactionary decisions. Those will plague you.

Furthermore, I’m not saying Terry will fall off a cliff in the second half, but I think it’s fair to expect a bit of a dip in production. He’s been a tremendous story.I guess it depends on what you’re looking to gain from the trade ultimately. Even with that, I’d be inclined to probably just stick with Matthews. The dude’s a goal scoring machine and is currently tracking positively towards a second consecutive Rocket Richard Trophy. And most importantly, he’s still just 24.

Midway through this regular-season, I’m still having a difficult time trying to quantify what Hartman truly is. This offensive eruption literally came out of nowhere.
