The issue is you need people to invest into the game and generate revenue so women can be paid and so teams can afford to have the necessary equipment and supplies to keep the players safe. When women's games are only drawing around 5,000 people kristen_shilton Where does the money come from. You cannot expect someone to run a business and have no return. None of you hockey players would do that with your own money. kristen_shilton I'd say they should test the market...play multiple games in a weekend in the same city, broadcast them in competitive time slots against other hockey options and let the data decide what happens. If it's viable to make money they'll know.
