Evening Update: Pandemic dominates federal campaign after Jason Kenney’s reversal in Alberta

“If you think the pandemic has been incredibly difficult, remember that the World Health Organization and the Lancet have both declared climate change the number one health threat of this century. And just as we have seen with COVID-19, climate change will also not affect all Canadians equally.

Speaks to judgement, which has always been a main theme of the campaign. O'Toole's praise of Kenny is just one more example of how poor his judgement is. Shine a light into any corner of the Conservative campaign and you get a similar story.

Make no mistake, if O'Toole was PM, all of Canada would be in the same dire circumstance as Alberta! These wannabe Leaders, should start talking about why they should be leader, not why Trudeau shouldn't be!

Kenny has governed poorly. He should not get re elected. Trudeau using the nightmare that Albertans are suffering as an election ploy is despicable. Maybe some compassion and federal aid would have been better use of this time rather than being on the campaign trail.

Not reversal! Incompetence. Over and over he does nothing until AB is the worst in the country and last spring the worst in North America. And otoole supports him. Yikes!
