Constitutionally, provision of Education is the responsibility of the State, not the Federal Government. U.S. Teachers Unions are seeking $100B or more in federal funds to cover added costs required for safe re-opening. They haven’t shared a plan on what reopening entails.

Small glitch, parents value the lives of their children.
Maybe we could keep government run schools closed permanently? And give people vouchers instead? And sell the real estate to private operators? And let everyone have real school choice instead of the nightmare we have now?
