Lucky lumber: Rosario's hot bat leads Braves to Series. MORE:

talked the other day about his lucky lumber, a 33 1/2-inch, 31-ounce Louisville Slugger that started to heat up with a four-hit night in mid-September.

Well, he topped that on Saturday night, becoming MVP of the NLCS. As the crowd chanted his name, Rosario hoisted the award. “We just couldn’t figure him out,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. “He beat us the other way. He beat us to the pull side. He got hits off lefties, off righties. We tried to spin him. We went hard. We just didn’t have an answer for him."

Former Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos guides Braves to World SeriesFormer Toronto Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos is heading to the World Series with the Atlanta Braves. Atlanta's president of baseball operations and general manager watched the Braves book a date with the Houston Astros by beating the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-2 in Game 6 of the NLCS on Saturday. Blue Jays should have never let this man go. One of, if not the biggest mistake in Jays history. A lot of respect for AA & what he did for the blueJays before being shoved out the door, but let’s be honest - he walked into an embarrassment of prospect riches in Atlanta. That said he did the right thing he with them, didn’t he. Wonder how JoseBautista feels about that. Thanks but keep his ass in Atlanta….🤮🤮🤮

Buehler starts for Dodgers in Game 6 of NLCS, Price replaces KellyThe Los Angeles Dodgers tapped Walker Buehler to start Game 6 of the NL Championship Series against the Atlanta Braves on Saturday night after scratching Max Scherzer. Scherzer can't go. Kershaw's hurt. Joe Kelly's hurt. Urias isn't himself. Buehler hasn't been his stellar self. And Trevor Bauer is, uh... not allowed to be mentioned. Did the start time change for this game? My online tv guide says it's supposed to be on now---but it isn't! Curling is.
