Durham Regional police saidto the scene of the attack at about 2:20 p.m., where they found a 23-year-old man with life-threatening stab wounds. Police said the suspect walked or ran away from the scene.
Paramedics took the man to a trauma centre near Toronto, where his injuries were treated. Police said the man’s injuries are no longer life-threatening. Police are still looking for the suspect, who they say is a man with a thin build, last seen wearing a red head covering, a large dark jacket and dark sneakers with red details.
