Officers responded to reports of a male cyclist who was hit by a vehicle in the area of Dixie and Rathburn roads at around 5:45 p.m.
According to police, the driver did not stay at the scene but he and his vehicle were located a short time later and he is now in custody.Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them at 905-453-3311.
