The Canadian Paediatric Society is preparing to send a bulletin to children’s physicians across Canada asking them to lookout for youngsters with overlapping symptoms of Kawasaki disease and toxic-shock syndrome

Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children has so far not seen an increase in the number of children turning up with Kawasaki-like disease.Canadian doctors are looking into whether a rare and potentially severe inflammatory syndrome found recently in some Montreal children could have been triggered by the novel coronavirus.

“The pediatric networks are looking at this and there have been cases identified,” Dr. Tam said, “[but] they haven’t been verified to be linked to COVID-19 specifically.” The cases at the centre of the investigation turned up at Montreal’s Sainte-Justine Hospital over the past few weeks, according to Marie-Paule Morin, a pediatric rheumatologist at the hospital.

Sick children sadly are always at risk just as the old and sick. The solution is to secure the sick and allow the healthy to live and thrive - children need play, togetherness and dirty.

This disease is very rare...to see so many cases is odd and scary. My daughter had it, but it was caught early and she is free of it. It is horrific for any parents. There must be a link...keep the kids home...

Thats a crock of shit that is their reports as studies show that children are the most immune to the covid virus tell that Dr to go back to represent the corrupt WHO and take that worthless Trudeau with her

I am not a doctor - but let me just save the money it would cost to study and provide the answer- ANYONE WITH IMMUNE DEFICIENCY WILL BE EFFECTED BY COVID19. TADA!
