The mayor’s insistence on making transportation decisions based on facts is quite concerning. Luckily, the NCC takes the opposite approach.

Active transportation, for those not familiar with the term, is the latest way to describe what we would once have called cycling and walking. The new terminology reflects the critical importance of these activities and is certainly an upgrade over cycling, which sounds recreational, and walking, which sounds, well, pedestrian.Active transportation is just one element of the new climate religion.
